It gave answers to most of the questions that the fans had in their mind and systematically unrevealed all the mysteries. And if you talk about the favorite character on the show then I can without any doubt say Kyle Trager. This character was portrayed by Matt Dallas. By means of Adam Baylin’s DNA, Kyle was cloned. No doubt Adam was his biological father but Kyle termed him as his friend and mentor. Kyle had some out of the queue skills, like he can preserve informations and can learn tremendously fast. Moreover he was marvelously good to judge weather. He was able to smell the weather changes and in addition, was able to jump very high as compared to a normal human being. He was so acute with his senses that he could even hear the heartbeats from long distances.

I am very sure that no any show can ever be as interesting as Kyle XY was. And I also know that all the fans would be missing it very badly. I exactly have no idea about what happened after “Bringing down the House” (the tenth episode of third season) of our dearly loved TV series, Kyle XY. The last episode was aired on March 16, 2009. Kyle XY had a run of three long seasons. And those three seasons consisted of forty-three episodes. If we further classify this, the second season of Kyle XY had twenty- three episodes whereas the third season just managed to reach the episode10. Unquestionably fans of Kyle XY were expecting further seasons after the third season of the series. But all the desires of the fans got washed away when the tenth episode served as the season three finale and the creators did not gave any hints about the future seasons. It had been about four months since the last episode was aired and the network has now declared that there will be no fourth season of Kyle XY TV series.

Third season of Kyle XY was not as good as the previous seasons were. That might be the reason, why the fans did not show much interest in its episodes. The pilot episode of the season was ‘It Happened One Night’. It was aired on January 12, 2009 and it attracted a total of about 1.500 million viewers. But in the succeeding episode, entitled Psychic Friend, Kyle was shown attending a psychic fair which fans didn’t like much as the response for this episode was much lesser than the previous one.

And from second episode onwards, a gradual fall was seen in the total number of viewers per episode. This has always been a mystery for me why the viewers lost their interest in this season of Kyle XY. You will be astonished to know that the ninth episode of the third season got a total of 1.28 million viewers. These might be the points why the creators would have ended the show.

S.G. Wilkins has written two novels based on the very popular television series Kyle XY.Kyle XY: Nowhere to Hide is about Kyle’s Halloween which in the series is referred as “Tie-In”. This novel was published on August 30, 2007.
Whereas, the second novel, Kyle XY: Under the Radar was published on January 1, 2008. This novel moves around School’s presidential elections with Kyle as a candidate.

But this is not the end as two more books are in the queue of publication. One of the book is most likely to be published somewhere around June this year. And the other one will be published in August, 2009.
So I suggest all the fans of the series Kyle XY to pull up their socks for some reading.

I know that it is heart breaking news that Kyle XY won’t be with us anymore as it is not renewing for the forth season. But still I am happy to have Kyle XY in books. The show had run for three seasons in which the show managed to secure huge fan list. But I don’t know why the show got cancelled.
The creators of the show said that the ratings were gradually declining and that is why they had to shut down the series.

The inevitable has finally happened. The third season of the show Kyle XY is now over, and so is the show, as the ABC network had declined any other season of the same.
The season finale was not well received much by fans I say, it lacked depth and so much so that it did not even appear like it was the final episode of the show. If you go around and conduct a survey for all the fans, I am sure more than 85% of them will say that they have been let down by the makers of the show. One of the possibly suggested reasons for such an ending has come up that the producers and the makers of the show were not fully prepared to end the show just yet. They had simply not anticipated that the doors will be closed on them so very soon. So, they abruptly had to close down the story lines, and this led to some cliff hangers, as they are being called.

Not to mention here, the number of questions, the fans were left guessing for. Yes, the very same fans, who had resorted to various forms of persuasions to convince the networks for another season of Kyle.

The female fans were in for a pleasant surprise though, as actor Matt Dallas, appeared shirtless, and with only low waist jeans worn beneath. And that was quite a skin show, I must say here.

Of course, the show will be missed, for it was a numero uno teen sci-fi drama at one point of time. Its fan base is phenomenal, due credit for which should be granted to the wonderful actors on the show like Matt Dallas who performed so very well with his cute blue eyed looks.

Not to forget here the story line, which never appeared like too glossy or too much over the earth, like it happens at times with other shows of such genre.
So possibly with lots of loose ends left up in this episode, should the fans press forward for a spin - off perhaps?

I have already written about the first novel based on Kyle XY. So here is something on the second novel, also authored by S.G. Wilkins and aptly titled Kyle XY: Under the Radar, and can be linked to the season two of the show.
Many of you might be able to recall the second season episode 3 called The List is Life and the bonfire that happened there. The story of this novel has been woven around some days in the aftermath of these incidents. The parallel story line in the first novel was all about Tom Foss, and on similar lines, Jessi Hollander now occupies an important position in the story. Jessi, as we all know changed the whole course of where the story was earlier heading to. So the sub - plot has surely been a spiced up one.

The 189 page book came in January, 2008 and there are talks about two more books to follow suit. Also, happening in this novel, are the elections for the school president of Beachwood High. Since Kyle rescues a freshman from a brawl, he is all of a sudden nominated for the elections. Tom Foss, who has been coaching Kyle for the tough times ahead, is not at all pleased with this, as he believes that this is just a ploy to get Kyle to come out in open.

Frankly, I think this is an important twist in the story.
So overall, an insightful book, with some things that you never saw on the television, like the diary maintained by Adam Baylin that is an important component of the book but is never talked about in the TV series. The diary reveals so much, yet so little but definitely it opens up an all together different world to us.
